I have a panasonic camcorder that uses mini dvds,are these automatically able to play in microsft movie maker?

I am recording speeches for a class on these dvds and my professor said that his computer only reads dvds made in microsoft movie maker.After I record I am able to play them on my dvd player and my computer,however i downloaded a version of microsoft movie maker and im not able to play the dvd..Is there something that I am missing???

1. WMM doesn't make DVDs and it can't edit them - I think there's been a misunderstanding.

2. they are able to play in movie maker becuse if you save it to your desktop then you can drag and drop it into the windows move maker and if that dosent work try the other awnsers
