1. try a firewire cable.

2. You need a firewire cable. Look to see if your camcorder has an input that read 1EEE1394. If it does, make sure your computer also has that connection. If it does, go to the electronics store, be sure to take your camcorder and match up the cable. If not, you may be able to use the USB, or USB 2 connections on your computer. Hope this helps...

The software being used is Ulead VideoStudio - you can download a free trial to see if it works for you from :-

4. The specific firewire cable you need is probably a 4pin to 6pin IDEE1394 cable, which has a small box connector on one end and a closed U-Shaped larger connector on the other end.

You will also need a Firewire connection in your computer, available as a PCI Card for your Desktop's motherboard or a PCMIA card for your Laptop's PCMIA cardslot.

Hope this helps.
