Intel® Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 will this card play AVCHD (HD) Video without issues?

Want to buy a Dell Hybrid, it comes with this card, was wondering if the card will play HD video fine, no hick ups?? The actual standard is AVCHD (sony and panasonic camcorders make it) need to play video straight from harddrive.

1. That graphics chip will not do any acceleration of AVCHD video. You would need a Radeon or GeForce graphics chip to do that. You will still be able to watch video using only the CPU, as long as you get a 2.4ghz or faster processor. 720p should be safe, but 1080p/i is pushing the limits of this system.

HD video is very demanding, and ultimately, I would not recommend the Hybrid Desktop for that sort of usage. It is designed as a small, quiet and low-power machine for everyday web surfing and office use. You would be better served with a regular-sized desktop including a dedicated PCI-Express graphics card.

2. MAJOR HICCUPS! the dell hybrid is pretty bad, better off gettin a studio laptop and connecting it to a wireless keyboard, wireless mouse and a monitor, will give u better performance. the hybrid is basically a laptop without a screen.
