just wondering. like with a usb cable and such.

1. I am going to take a guess and assume you mean can you tether a Canon DSLR camera to your computer. Is that right?

If it is, there is a program that comes with the Canon DSLR's that can be tethered to a computer.

The fastest way to get that information on all the current Canon DSLR's is to call Canon. 800.OK-CANON. They will be happy to tell you which ones will do that.

The software I use with my Nikon DSLR's can port using either "firewire" IEEE 1394 or USB 2.0 ports" Both must be built-in to the computer.

2. Any digital camera should be able to. Its an Integral part of the concept. Along with firewire and USB 2, you should also look for the ability to remove the memory card in the camera and put it in a card reader, also built into the computer.
