CANON DIGITAL CAMERAS HELP !!!?

ok i reallyyy need help finding the perfect camera i love canon digital cameras but the last two i've had didnt make me completely happy. i just bought the canon powershot a1100 and i HATE it and like a week ago i bought the canon sd780 it was sooooo nice but its so tiny and after a week of having it the screen broke . my cousin in law had a canon digital camera and i really dont know what the name is but i've been looking for it, for about a year it has this soft effect on your pictures i think its called beauty shot its a wide screen probably a 2.7-2.8 lcd screen and its either 10 or 12 mega pixels its probably hard to figure out what camera im talking about since most canons have almost the same effects but if anyone knows any canon digital cameras that fit what im lookinng for plz let me know i graduate in june and i really want a nice camera before then . ill really appreciate it ALOT !

1. Check out the canon G10, it is pretty nice, I've had it since Christmas.

2. I like the Canon Powershot SX20 IS it has a long zoom, an adjustable lcd screen, small size @ about $350.
Based on what you have said I would spent a couple of hours at: usa.canon.com/home
to narrow your search down. Then present your findings in the form of "I've narrowed my search down to the Canon #etc. and the Canon#2 etc. which is better. and why?
