i ma looking for a camcorder under $200.
Any idea whcih one would be a good one in this range - sonr, canon or panasonic ?

1. Canon's the best, but you'll never find one for under $200.

To fit the price range I'd go with a Sony.

2. Yeah, you won't be able to find a Canon for under $200. Reasonably, Sony is probably the only one that you'll be able to find one for under $200. Something like this:

3. Neither, you won't find a better camcorder than a JVC Everio series for your budget. I have 3 camcorders, a Sony, a Panasonic & a JVC & the JVC wins hands down.
