Camcorders: Sony or Panasonic ?

cant decide between 2 camcorders. same price. both have great reviews. however, Panasonic has greater optical zoom 30x vs 20x on its VDR-D105, whereas Sony [DCR-DVD105] appears to have better features

any opinions or feedback from people who own or have had experience with would be appreciated. thank you!

stick with what you know e.g. if you already have more Sony stuff in your house and you are happy with them, then stick with them

My own two cents...I like Panasonic cameraas with 3 CCD system over Sony. Better color fidelity...
