How much are New and Used Sony VX1000 camcorders?

How much US Dollars would it be for a new sony vx1000 and how much is a decent price for a used one. also would it work and edit with Windows 7 and Pinnacle Studio Editiong Software?????

1. I saw a couple on eBay for about $1250. I think tht's for a used one. It should be compatible since it's MiniDV.
