Do any of the Canon PowerShot SD Model Digital Cameras allow you to use the zoom feature while in video mode?

I really like the SD970 IS model but on the reviews I've read, many people have said that you can't zoom while in video mode. I'd like to be able to use this feature, but than I thought maybe none of Canon's digital camera's allow for that.

1. I believe they will all allow you to zoom, but it won't be "optical Zoom" it will be digital zoom, and the video quality won't be as good as with Optical zoom.
I have the SX200, which has a 12x optical zoom. If you zoom to 8x before starting the video, you can take the video with 8x optical zoom. You can zoom in further while shooting the video, but this will be digital zoom. But if I start shooting at 8x optical zoom, I can't zoom out to 7x, 6x, etc until I stop shooting video.
Not sure if all the SD's work like this, but I bet they do.

2. You can do digital zoom, but not optical. I think with the Sony HX1, you can do optical while in video mode, but not positive. I like the Canon much better though
