i want to buy digital camera,panasonic DMC fz50 OR nikon S500?

i am planning to buy a digital camera.can anyone tell me which one is better,panasonic dmc fz50 OR nikon S500?

2. They are two totally different classes of cameras- so there is no way to compare them.

If you instead asked, should I buy a Nikon S500, a Panasonic FX30, or a Canon SD1000- I could at least try to describe the differences.

the FZ50 is a large, semi-pro, ultra-zoom.
the S500 is a standard compact camera.

the FZ50 is one of the top cameras in its class.
The S500 is pretty run of the mill. It's a fine camera, but there are others like it.

3. well they are both fantastic brand. you have great taste in cameras. buy i would consider the nikon more as they specialise in photographic equipment. but they are both great, there isnt much between them.
