How do I fix my Panasonic Digital Camera? The power wont turn on... And the battery is fully carged?

I have a Panasonic Lumix FXM01 and when I try to turn it on nothing happens. I tried buying a new Battery and charged it fully , thinking that I was a faulty battery.
So I'm kinda scared on buying anything else, because I could be wasting my money... Any-one out there experienced the same problem???plz write bak, if you have any ideas, Thanx

2. Might be a jammed lens - that often prevents cameras from turning on. It may also be that the camera is simply fried.
