Can miniDVs used in Sony camcorders be recorded to more than once?

Can I record onto a miniDV, transfer video from miniDV to computer, burn DVD and use the miniDV to record new video?

1. Yes, absolutely. it's just like normal VHS cassette which you can use it over and over again. but, the "end-search" features will not be functioning well as it don't know where is the end of your videos.

2. I have done that many, many, many times!!!
