What models of Sony HandyCam Camcorders take pictures as well as record videos?

I saw the DCR- HC52 Sony MiniDV camcorder and really liked it. I was wondering if it can take pictures too.

1. i dont recommend using that feature. i dont care how many pixels it has. its a video cam that happens to take pix. you can easily buy a digital cam that does a much better job for $100

2. Sure, the DCR- HC52 can take still photos. But they're only 1 megapixel, and even at that, they're nothing special. You can find any number of older 5 or 6 megapixel digital still cameras for under $100 that would do a vastly superior job.

I took my Canon HV10 on a backpacking trip last summer as my only camera, and used it for video and stills. This is a HDV camcorder with 3 megapixel sensor. The stills were certainly better than nothing, and I did appreciate not having to add one more thing to my 65lbs. pack load, but pretty much any current still camera would have produced better still photos.
