Sony camcorders?

Can any one give me some links to cheap sony handycam camcorders.

1. Don't touch a sony camcorder with a barge bole, they are rubbish, I had one a few years ago and it broke within a year got it repaired by the manufacturer and it worked for a while then broke down again.

3. Whenever someone comes on YA and asks "I want an expensive gadget but I want it cheap", ebay is the ONLY viable answer, IMNSHO.

Ashnet was first with this "Best Answer", and I second it.

Of course, I'm on fixed income, so what *I* consider "cheap" is probably substantially different from what Bill Gates calls "cheap". Even in the Book of Life, you still have to read between the lines... ;-)

Pearl, I'm sorry to hear about your poor experience with your sony camcorder. I have 3 of them (2 of which I got off ebay), that perform beautifully (I even managed to crack the LCD on my 720, but it "took the lickin' and keeps right on tickin'). I love my sony handycams, and I recommend Sony heartfully to others.

If you still have it, post the problem here at YA. Give me the exact model number of your camera and a clear and concise description of the problem(s) you're experiencing and I'll see if I can help you get it up and running again.
