which digital cameras are best - sony, canon or panasonic ?

Hi guys,
I have to buy a digital camera under $200. Which of sony, canon or panasonic should I look for ?

1. definitely canon. sony is good with electronics, and panasonic with audio, but canon is specifically focused on cameras and recording equipment, so they are THE best brand

3. Sony just slaps logo's on. I would stay with panasonic if you had to choose outta three brand's. But just my opinion Nikon is the best i have had luck with.

4. there is not much difference between them. but I think for this range you can buy a nice A series canon such as A590is or so.
in this range , Panasonic does not offer much and if it does , the lens is not Leica which is one of the best lenses available. Sony branded cameras in this range , may not use Zeiss lense either. Sony has 2 other problems. first they has a special battery and second they have special memory card type that will limit you.
so I suggest one of Canon's A series those are very great cameras, they uses AA batteries that you can obtain every where and if you use NiMH rechargeable they will last for days. these cameras uses SD memory cards so you can use these memory cards for file transfer on almost every digital device and you can find these memory card every where for very low prices if you need more space to take more pictures.
I suggest a model that has "is" on the model. this means that it has image stabilizer that will help to take good pictures in low light.
for example A590is is a great choice.
and do not decide on mega pixel. every thing above 4Mpixel is great and even the greater ones ( greater than 8) will make the pictures worse.
