My panasonic digital camera (fx7) makes sc cards write pritected. Is that common?

This is my secound sd card which became write protected itself, I think it busted. Does this came from my Panasonic digital camera FX series?

1. Your SD card comes with a sliding switch on the edge that locks or unlocks your card. It's easy enough to accidently slide it into the locked position.
