do i need a voltage converter to charge my canon camcorder?
i am traveling to india, with my new US canon camcorder, do i just need a plug converter or a voltage converter as well with my charger?

Since you did not tell us which Canon camcorder, we can't point you to the specific manual, but typically, newer AC adapters supplied will do with the just the plug/adapter (voltage converter not needed. It should also be written (but very difficult to read) on the AC adapter itself. I was in Monaco last year and had a similar concern with my Sony camcorder... and needed ONLY the plug/adapter - same with my laptop). But I had a voltage converter, just in case...
