How do I fix my canon camcorder it always says take tape out?

It's a ZR85 canon camcorder. When I put a tape in it says to take the tape out I dont know what to do.please dont tell me to look on usa.canon.com because I already looked there wasn't anything and please dont tell me to look it up on some site you will give me because i'm asking if you know how to fix it.

1. Page 140 of the operating manual shows the cause as: Camcorder stopped operating to protect the tape. Solution: Unload and reload the cassette.

I’m sure you already did that so try another new tape.

If that doesn’t work, try a camera reset.

Turn camera off
Locate the tiny reset button (probably underneath)
Push in with a small narrow pointer for 10 seconds.
Hopefully that might do the trick.

If not, call Canon.
