Canon camcorders?

does canon make good camcorders...especially the
Canon Elura 100 MiniDV Camcorder..if not, could u tell me which is the better brand...thx

1. Don't know about that particular model, but I've had great success with my Canon camcorder. I suggest you look at epinion.com to read reviews written by people who have purchased that model.

2. The Best Camcorders on the planet are in fact Canons. We have an older NTSC ZR 65 that we've had for about 4 years. It got thrown into a swimming pool on our vacation in '02...sank to the bottem of the pool and all my husband did was blow dry it and fix the foggy lens. Still works perfect to this day. Feel free to invest. ~J~ <><

3. starting off, always go with sony on the camcorders. top of the line... always. next, go with a dvd-r instead of a minidv.
canons are nice, but can't beat sony. try a sony handycam dcr-dvd305, dcr-dvd 405, or 505

4. i have the elura 40mc minidv and it works pretty good...nice and small too.
