Is there a trick to conecting Canon Digital Cameras? I just got a Canon Powershot camera. I took some pics and tried puting them on my moms computer. The computer did not respond to the camera at all. I installed the software that came with it and connected it with the USB wire that came with the camera. canon digital cameras? hey i've been looking to find a new digital camera. i love taking pictures of things whether it's my friends and me or flowers. i want something w/ nice zoom and that makes good quality pics. i also would like a canon camera...i think they're really good. can anyone tell me a nice canon digital camera that isn't too much money? i mean something below like 400...300 would be my highest probably! i like slim and small so that it fits in my purse and i also said that i like nice zoom...any ideas? thnx :-) ya well i just want something that has better zoom than the crappy sony one i have now! i'd be happy w/ 4 or 5x zoom it doesn't have to be like 10x or whatever! i need better zoom because i take closeup photos of flowers and other things like that...i think i'm pretty good but the sony makes the pics come out all fuzzy and everything...my dad's works much better plus i'm going to france w/ my school in two years when i'm in tenth grade so i'd want something small and not too big so i can put it in a little purse or something

Dear friends, based on some recommendations, I was planning to buy a new digital camera Canon powershot SD600, this was almost 5 months ago and I did not buy it until now that I tried to buy it, but I found that the prices for this particular model have gone up a little a bit maybe it’s because newer models have come and many sellers do not carry this particular model anymore, does any one of you know of the newer models from Canon that has all the features of Canon powershot SD600 and can be a good or even better replacement for that? What canon digital camera body do you recommend to fit my sigma zoom lenses? I have a Canon EOS Rebel G that came with a 28-80 mini zoom macro and a 70-300 macro super.....I want to get a digital that i can still use my lenses on.Any recommendations? Do any of the Canon PowerShot SD Model Digital Cameras allow you to use the zoom feature while in video mode? I really like the SD970 IS model but on the reviews I've read, many people have said that you can't zoom while in video mode. Do all Canon digital compact cameras have the same issue with 'pincushioning' and 'barreling'? I just upgraded to a Canon SD970 IS camera, from a Powershot SD400. I noticed, in the reviews, that the lens in the new camera has an issue with 'pincushioning' in zoom modes, and 'barreling' in wide angle mode. This is, for those unfamiliar, an overall distortion of the image, either a bulging out or pinching in. My question is, are all Canon SD Powershot cameras about equal with regard to this lens issue?
CANON DIGITAL CAMERAS HELP !!!? ok i reallyyy need help finding the perfect camera i love canon digital cameras but the last two i've had didnt make me completely happy. i just bought the canon powershot a1100 and i HATE it and like a week ago i bought the canon sd780 it was sooooo nice but its so tiny and after a week of having it the screen broke . my cousin in law had a canon digital camera and i really dont know what the name is but i've been looking for it, for about a year it has this soft effect on your pictures i think its called beauty shot its a wide screen probably a 2.7-2.8 lcd screen and its either 10 or 12 mega pixels its probably hard to figure out what camera im talking about since most canons have almost the same effects but if anyone knows any canon digital cameras that fit what im lookinng for plz let me know i graduate in june and i really want a nice camera before then . ill really appreciate it ALOT !
